Former Rotherham Manager Ronnie Moore has signed a two-year contract to become the new Manager at League One Club Oldham on a permanent basis after the departure of Brian Talbot on 1 March 2005. John Breckin has also agreed to a two-year contract as his Assistant at Boundary Park.
Tony Smith has resigned as Co-Manager and player from Third Division Club First Team Stenhousemuir, leaving Des McKeown in charge.
Former Ayr United Manager, Campbell Money, has been appointed Youth and Community Coach.
English Nationwide Conference Club, Forest Green Rovers, has dismissed its Manager Alan Lewer following the Club's possible relegation. The Club will be reprieved if Northwich Victoria or Gravesend fail to satisfy the Conference about the quality of ground improvements.
Sporting Director Christian Hochstaetter has resigned as Sporting Director of 1.Bundesliga Club Borussia Moenchengladbach. This comes just three days after the Club's Coach Dick Advocaat stepped down. As of immediate effect, Hochstaetter's successor will be former VFL Wolfsburg Sporting Director Peter Pander.
Japanese J-League first-division Club Vissel Kobe announced the appointment of former Brazil Coach, Emerson Leao, as Manager to take over from Hideki Matsunaga, dismissed after a poor start to the new season.
Joseacute; Caacute;ndido Soto Maior, "Candinho", has resigned as Coach of Campeonato Brasileiro Club Palmeiras following this week's 2-0 defeat by Santo Andre in Copa Libertadores Group 4.
Gerard Buscher has been appointed Manager of French Ligue 1 Club Nice to the end of the season and succeeds Gernot Rohr.
Mons-Bergen dismissed Manager Jos Daerden on Monday, despite a weekend win which moved them off the bottom in the Belgian championship. Assistant-Coach Michel Wintacq will take over the Managerial duties until end of this season, the Club said. Mons-Bergen lie 16th in the 18-strong division with 25 points from 30 matches.
2.Bundesliga Club Rot-Weiss Essen has hired Uwe Neuhaus who so far has been Head Coach of Borussia Dortmund amateurs. The Club has released Head Coach Juergen Gelsdorf and Assistant Coach Johann Rieckhof of their duties after the Club's defeat against Alemannia Aachen.
The Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF) has re-appointed Alfred Riedl as the new Manager of the National Team. It is the third time that the Coach has held the position.

Arsenal Football Club has confirmed that Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith has been appointed to the Club's Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director. Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith, who is the second largest shareholder at Arsenal with 16.8% of the share ownership, is continuing the Bracewell-Smith family's long association with the Club. Lady Nina's husband Sir Charles Bracewell-Smith is the son of the former Arsenal Director Sir Guy Bracewell-Smith, who was on the Board of Directors from May 1953 to September 1976.
Threatened by relegation, French League 1 Club, SC Bastia, has released Coach Francois Ciccolini of his duties. Assistant Coaches Michou Padovani and Eric Durand will take over until a permanent solution is met by the Board.
Dolf Roks replaces Jan Van Dijk as Manager for Netherlands Eredivisie Club RBC Roosendaal.
Former Tunisian defender Tarek Thabet has been named as the reigning African Champions' new Assistant Coach. The Tunisian Football Federation (TFF) made the announcement on Thursday, ending speculation that Nabil Maaloul would return to the post. Maaloul, who was dismissed at the beginning of this week by Club African, gave up his place with the Carthage Eagles earlier this year to Coach the former Tunisian League Champions.
Dick Advocaat has resigned as Coach of 1.Bundesliga Club Borussia Moenchengladbach. The Dutchman steps down after 18 games in charge. The Club will also see the departure of Assistant Coach Verbeek who departs the Club too. Amateur Coach Horst Koeppel will take over for the remainder of the season.
Nick Leeson has been appointed as the new Commercial Manager of Eircom League Division One Club, Galway United.
Former Egypt Manager, Mohamed Abdu Saleh El Wahsh, has replaced Essam Abdel Moniem as the Caretaker President of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA).
South African Trott Moloto has quit his post as Coach of Tanzanian Champions Simba SC due to a leadership crisis within the Club. The former Bafana Bafana Coach, whose one-year renewable contract was due to expire in January next year, jetted out of the country on Saturday night.
J.League strugglers Vissel Kobe has dismissed Manager Hideki Matsunaga just one month into the J1 season. An announcement concerning Matsunaga's immediate successor is due today.
Kurt Jara has signed a deal with the Austrian Bundesliga team SV Wuestenrot Salzburg. Next season the Club welcomes him as Head Coach. His popularity is high and comes less than two weeks after he was released from 1.Bundesliga Club 1.FC Kaiserslautern.
Dutchman Huub Stevens will leave 2.Bundesliga Club 1.FC Koeln as Head Coach at the end of the season, due to private reasons. This was announced in today's press conference at the Club, which is most likely to be promoted to the 1.Bundesliga.
Franky Vercauteren was appointed Anderlecht Coach on a permanent basis on Tuesday after reaching agreement with the Belgian Champions on a two-year contract. Vercauteren, capped 63 times by Belgium, had been Assistant Coach since 1998 before he took over the Club on a temporary basis from the dismissed Hugo Broos in early February. The 48-year-old's contract runs until 2007 when he will either continue in the role or become Technical Manager.
Austrian Club SV Mattersburg has summarily dismissed talented but controversial South Africa Midfielder Jabu Pule. Club Chairman Martin Pucher declared the contract of the 24-year-old Bafana Bafana player was terminated after he was involved in a second drink-driving incident.

Alan Perrin has been appointed Manager of Portsmouth FC. His contract is of immediate effect and will keep him at the Club until the summer of 2007.
English Championship Club, Rotherham, has appointed Mick Harford as Manager on a two-year contract. Harford was Assistant Manager at Football League One Club Swindon Town. Harford replaces Caretaker Manager Alan Knill who has been appointed First-Team Coach. His Assistant Mark Robins takes over the Youth Team.
Greg Ryan, 48, has been named the new Head Coach and Technical Director of U.S. Soccer's Women's National Team. Terms of the deal were not released. Ryan was previously named the interim Head Coach after the resignation of April Heinrichs on 15 February 2005.
The Turkish Football Association has appointed Mr Lutfi Aribogan as a new General Secretary.
Dutch Eredivise Club Ajax has announced that General Director Arie van Eijden will step down as soon as a successor has been found. Ajax's Board of Commissioners expects that this will be the case before the end of 2005. Van Eijden will officially retire on 1 April 2006 at the latest.
2. Bundesliga Club SpVgg Unterhaching has confirmed Coach Andreas Brehme has resigned. Assistant Coach Harry Deutinger and Goalkeeping Coach Rainer Berg will maintain the Club until a replacement is found.
The Chicago Fire announced that John Guppy has been named President & Chief Executive Officer of the MLS Club with immediate effective.
St Patrick's Athletic has announced the appointment of former FAI Chief Executive Bernard O'Byrne as Chief Executive with immediate effect. O'Byrne will take charge of all operational aspects of the Club and Commercial and Technical staff will report to him. He will in turn report directly to the Board of Management.
Former World Cup defender Edinho took over as Coach of Atletico Paranaense on Tuesday (12 April 2005) the Club, were runners-up in last year's Brazilian Championship. Edinho, who played for Brazil in the 1986 World Cup, was appointed only two days before his team face a crucial South American Libertadores Cup tie at home to Colombia's America. Edinho replaces Casimiro Mior.
The Board of Directors of the Jamaican Football Federation (JFF) appointed Rudolph Speid as Treasurer of the Federation. Speid, who is Group Financial Controller at the Gleaner Company Limited, is also an Executive of the Kingston & St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA). He replaces Carlton Barclay, whose resignation took effect on 31 March 2005.

English Football League Two Club, Chester City, has dismissed Assistant Manager Mark Aizlewood, 45.
Ian Rush has resigned as Manager of League Two strugglers Chester. Rush, at 43, has decided to leave after the Club terminated the Contract of his Assistant, Mark Aizlewood, on Monday.
Neil Sillett, Caretaker Manager at English Nationwide Club Farnborough, has resigned along with his Assistants, Mick Jenkins and Garry Thompson. For the Club's next match against Carlisle, senior players Scott Canham and Mark Rooney will now be assisted by Reserve Boss, Les Ryder and Youth Coach, Stuart Page. Farnborough hope to appoint a new Manager "in due course".
York City has announced that Nigel Pleasants joined as the Club's new Secretary on 1 April 2005. His role will be to supervise all administration at the Club.
Graeme Clark, Manager, and Peter Carey, Assistant Manager, have both resigned from English Unibond Premier League Club, Spennymoor United.
Russell Latapy, 36, currently playing with Scottish Football League Division One Club, Falkirk, has been appointed Assistant Manager for Trinidad & Tobago.

Romanian Soccer Federation President, Mircea Sandu, is stepping down after 15 years in the job. His successor is not known.
The Caribbean Nation's Football Federation confirmed former Real Madrid, Ajax and Netherlands Coach, Leo Beenhakker, as the new Coach of the Trinidad & Tobago Team. He will replace Bertille St Clair, who was at the Club for one year.
Dennis Booth, 38, Assistant Manager of English Nationwide Conference Club Carlisle has signed a two-year extension of his Contract until June 2007.
Portugal's bottom Team, Beira Mar, named Augusto Inacio to replace Luis de Campos as Coach on Monday. Inacio, who steered Sporting to their first title in 18 years in 2000, takes over from Campos who resigned after Beira Mar lost 3-1 against lowly visitors Penafiel on Sunday.

Hans Jurgen Gede has been relieved of his duties as Uzbekistan Coach and has been replaced by his predecessor Ravshan Khaydarov.
Portugal's Superliga Club, Moreirense, have named Jorge Jesus as successor to Vitor Oliveira. Jesus, who last Season saved Vitoria Guimaraes from relegation, has signed a Contract until the end of the season. He takes over from Oliveira, who resigned following Sunday's 1-0 home defeat by mid-table Belenenses.
Francesc Solanellas has been named the new Director General of Primera Liga Club Barcelona's professional Teams. The 38-year-old's responsibilities include controlling the budget for the Teams and planning purchases in conjunction with the coaching staff. He starts the job on 23 May 2005.
Bundesliga Club FC Kaiserslautern and Coach Kurt Jara have ended their Contract by mutual agreement. Successor will be current amateur Coach Hans-Werner Moser.

Well done Grant Young and AUCKLAND CITY who won the NATIONAL DIVISION play-offs and will now represent the country at the WORLD CLUB tournament. I got my text from Grant on Friday night informing me that he had left tickets on the gate for me and a couple of friends (Neil) and what a feast of football we were treated too.
As you will have seen throughout the site and read on a number of others about the important missing link in the NZ game - SPEED & PHYSICAL PASSION! Well this game had it all, what a treat for all to see and great for the sport in the country.
All in all it was a close and tight game, final score 3-2 over local rivals - Waitakere in the local derby.
MR MITRE bagged a brace including the winner. On the day he also picked-up MAN OF THE MATCH award, well done Grant, one of New Zealands best players and a MUST for Knights sellection.
The only dissapointing ellement of the day were some of the songs sung by a bunch of mindless supporters at the rear of the main stand - NO NEED! It was a family day with lots of children, I was embarrased to be ENGLISH! Grow-up your are not at the DEN with the lads from Millwall.
As my mate Neil says - MINDLESS!
Well all the children that we took to the game watched the fixture from start to finnish all all say how much they enjoyed the game - WELL DONE TO BOTH TEAMS

Another win for AUCKLAND CITY but by the reports the better football was played by Wellington. A close friend of mine, Mr Neil Scanlon said the the football played in the 2nd half by wellington was some of the best he has ever seen played in this country - TYPICAL and I was WORKING!
John Adshead - NZ Knights NEW Coach
We are all excited about John Adshead's appointment as Head Coach of the New Zealand Knights. After working in the Middle East and returning to NZ his view of the NZ game is summed up as follows:
While encouraged by some of what he has seen in his time here, Adshead said: "For the last few years I have been working with some very good players and when I came back, maybe, in comparison, it was all a bit gentle."

Jim Hone has resigned as Chief Executive of English Premier League Club Fulham. Hone will be replaced temporarily by current board member Mark Collins, who will fulfil the position on a part-time basis until a permanent successor is found.
